Artist in Transit:

The ‘Artist in Transit’ intervention was a participatory drawing activity conducted on trains that spanned six months between April and October 2014. This work involved a minimum of two days travel per week on off peak train services between Bendigo and Melbourne, Victoria. Each journey took two-hours, which allowed time for the production and collection of sustained drawings from commuters. This participatory art intervention resulted in over seven hundred drawings, one residency and four exhibitions, taking place at the Front Gallery, Docklands, Melbourne and the Bendigo Railway Station, RMIT Spiritual Centre, Melbourne and the Bendigo Goldfields Library.
